.Adoptando com alguma liberdade a teoria do antropólogo Alfred Gell, esta masterclass pretende explorar uma zona da tecnologia que se poderia designar como “technologies of enchantment”. Este conceito permite (eventualmente) trazer uma nova luz às questões da mecanização e da digitalização com que muitos performers contemporâneos lidam nos seus processos criativos.

Adopting freely the theory of the anthropologist’s Alfred Gell, this masterclass explores an area of technology that one could call “technologies of enchantment”. This concept may bring (eventually) a new light to questions regarding mechanics & digitalization that many contemporary performers address in their creative processes.

Daniel Tércio estudou Filosofia (UL), Artes Plásticas (ESBAL) e História da Arte (UNL) e realizou o Doutoramento em Motricidade Humana-Dança na FMH. É autor de obras de ficção e tem participado em projectos performativos e de formação artística, numa perspectiva transdisciplinar. Actualmente, é Professor na Faculdade de Motricidade Humana e investigador no INET-MD.

Daniel Tércio studied Philosophy, Fine Arts & History of Art and finished his PhD in Human Movement – Dance at FMH (Faculdade de Motricidade Humana). He is a fiction author and has participated in several performances & artistic workshops with a multidisciplinary approach. He is a Professor at FMH and a researcher at INET-MD.
