Hyperactive Dancefloor é uma instalação audiovisual interactiva que gera conteúdos através da interpretação dos movimentos dos participantes. Uma hyper mistura audiovisual de material proveniente dos mais diversos estilos de música electrónica para dança é gerada em tempo real a partir da localização do público na pista, dos seus movimentos e da forma como interagem entre si. Os participantes transformam-se em bailarino-músicos e criam uma interligação histórica na música de dança electrónica.
Hyperactive Dancefloor is an interactive audiovisual installation that generates contents through the interpretation of participants’ movements. A hyper audiovisual mix of material coming from the most varied range of electronic dance music is created lively from the from the location of the public on the dance floor, their movements and the way they interact. Participants become dancers-musicians and create a historical interconnection in electronic dance music.

Fundador da artshare (empresa vocacionada para a investigação e aplicação de novas tecnologias enquanto ferramentas de expressão artística) e seu principal mentor, é artista transdisciplinar e investigador no âmbito da criação artística de base tecnológica. Mestre em Design e DigitalMedia pela Coventry University, UK, integra o Planetary Collegium, dirigido por Roy Ascott. Em 2007, foi premiado com a Bolsa Ernesto de Sousa. Desenvolveu um considerável número de sistemas audiovisuais interactivos integrados em vários contextos internacionais.
Foi director técnico e assistente de curadoria da Bienal Internacional de Vila Nova de Cerveira, colaborou com o Programa Aveiro Digital e é coordenador do Skilled Art Project.
Founder and main mentor of artshare (company focused on the investigation and application of new technologies as tools of artistic expression), Luís Girão is a transdisciplinary artist and investigator on the subject of artistic creation with technological basis. Master of Design and Digital Media by Coventry University, UK, he is part of Planetary Collegium, directed by Roy Ascott. In 2007, he was granted with Ernesto de Sousa Scholarship. He also developed a great number of audiovisual interactive systems in several international contexts.
Finally, he was the technical director and curator assistant of Vila Nova de Cerveira International Biennial, he also collaborated with the program Aveiro Digital and he’s the coordinator of Skilled Art Project.
